Solent Local Enterprise Partnership – Bridging the Gap Funding – is a remarkable new initiative to help new start ups and growth businesses in Portsmouth, Gosport and Havant areas.
The Partnership has just announced its now taking applications from SME´s to apply for grants of between £5,000 and £50,000. This funding forms part of the governments Regional Growth Funding program – but is administered at a local level by Solent LEP.
Part of the key criteria for applying is that the funds would be used for the creation of new jobs or safeguarding existing ones. In order to apply applicants must also be able to invest either 30% or 50% of the total capital required, depending on the fund applied to.
